Humanist Wedding Photography at Sycamore Farm Barns in Derbyshire.
Alison and Andrew were married in a humanist wedding ceremony at Sycamore Farm Barns located in Wirksworth, Matlock.
Ali got in touch with me last August having seen some images from the outdoor wedding of Sofie and Rob. Ali told me about some early plans and I was hooked!
The day started with me capturing the girls getting ready and the boys moving the chairs in from the woodland area into the marque as the weather didn't look good!
We had bits of rain throughout the day, but it didn't stop anyone having fun, when the sun did come out the games that Ali and Andrew had set out, kept the kids entertained.
The amount of work that went into the wedding from Ali, Andrew and their family and friends must have been immense and must have taken a crazy amount of time to get all the murals painted, the wooden signs done, the games... I've never seen anything like it.
For me and the way I shoot, everyone made it very easy for me, people didn't take long to get used to me wandering around, snapping pictures and then moving on - and I hope that Ali and Andrew like the images that we managed to get.
Before you click off and have a look at the pictures - I just want to mention a few people that helped Ali and Andrew on their big day:
First is Emma, the makeup (and cake maker), the girls looked great and Emma was a pleasure to work with - please check her out over on Facebook Linky
Secondly Jo from My Perfect Ceremony who conducted the ceremony, which was fun, light hearted and very personal to Ali and Andrew - Facebook Linky
Last - but oh so important - Julie and her team at Tea Time Vintage who made and served the most delicious tea, sandwiches, and cake! Facebook Linky
Below are a few pictures from the day - all the images were captured using 2x Fujifilm XT2s, 1x X100f, 23mm f1.4, 23mm f2, 35mm F2, 50mm f2, 56mm f1.2 and the 50-140mm f2.8.
