HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, BULCOTE - bride and groom getting covered in confetti after their church wedding ceremony

Terri and Gary were married in an autumnal wedding ceremony at the Holy Trinity Church in Bulcote, Nottingham.

I love a local wedding, especially one where the Bride is getting ready in the next village to me, the Church is 10 minutes from my house and the wedding reception venue is a new and exciting one.

My morning started with a little drive to Terri's house in a small village near; Terri has converted the old post office into a warm and cosy home.

Terri was having her make-up done as I arrived in quite possibly the smallest room I have done prep in ever!

The morning was lovely and chilled with zero stress, the Bridesmaids were ready nice and early, and the dress went on without a hitch.

The Church that Terri and Gary were getting married at was a short drive away, and even with some horrible traffic, it took me a little over 20 minutes, which made my stress levels fall as travelling from one venue to another on a wedding day can be stressful.

I arrived at Bulcote Church about 10 mins before Terri, which meant I had a few minutes to find Gary, get a few shots of Scratch and still have time to get back outside and wait for Terri to arrive in a white London Taxi.

One of my favourite sequences of images from the wedding day is that of Terri and her Grandad walking towards the Church; it was Terri's Grandad who would be giving Terri away, and the little walk getting to the Church was nice.

The Church ceremony was nicely done, you can find that Church weddings can be pretty strict, but the Vicar doing the ceremony was very funny and made plenty of jokes which kept everyone's attention.

After the signing of the register had been done and approved by the Vicar, it was time for everyone to head off outside and get ready for the confetti, but first, it was time for some hugs outside the Church.

The wedding reception was held at Odd House Farm in Owthorpe, a new wedding venue nestled in the Nottinghamshire country side.

Once everyone had arrived, Terri and Gary wanted a couple of family formals, which we did quick sharp as it was pretty cold despite the sunshine.

Inside the Dutch Barn, the wedding guests were mingling and chatting before Terri and Gary were introduced into the room by the Best Man.

The Wedding Breakfast started with the speeches; Terri's Mum kicked it off, followed by Gary, then the Best Man and finally, a little wedding toast from the Bride herself.

The evening I knew would be fun, and as you can see in the gallery below, there were plenty of people up and dancing on the dancefloor.
