MANSFIELD REGISTRY OFFICE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Olivia and Mitch were married on a very rainy summer day at the Mansfield registry office, followed by a wedding reception at the secluded Forever Green restaurant.
The day started for me with Olvia and some close family and friends getting ready at her home.
I love the images of Olivia being helped into her dress by her Mum; these are always lovely little moments.
Just as we were about to head off to the Mansfield Registry Office, the heavens opened and didn’t close for the next 4/5 hours!
One of my favorite images from the wedding is that of Olivia arriving at the registry office with the umbrella being held by Dad, the dress being held up to make sure it stayed dry, and everyone rushing into the registry office to dodge the heavy rain.
Olivia and Mitch didn’t want much fuss during the wedding ceremony; they wanted to do the legals and get to the aftershow party as quickly as possible!
Once the ceremony was done, everyone headed outside, and to everyone’s amazement, the rain had stopped, albeit for just 5 minutes, but it was long enough for the confetti run and a few hugs and kisses before everyone headed off to Forever Green Restaurant, the venue for the outdoor BBQ and the party.
Forever Green Restaurant is a lovely little restaurant set in 70 acres of woodland on the outskirts of Mansfield, not too far from the registry office.
Waiting for Olivia and Mitch were some more family and friends, and after a few hugs, kisses, and hellos, it was time for the food and the all-important wedding speeches, which were going to take place outside with the backdrop of the woodland forest.
It was nice for Olivia and Mitch to have their wedding speeches outside; it was always the plan to have the wedding speeches outside, but with the weather, it was touch and go for a while.
The evening kicked off with the cake cut, followed by the first dance and then into the daft dancing.
I hope you enjoy looking at the wedding gallery below; it was a really enjoyable day to capture despite having wet feet for most of the day!

On the day you wouldn’t even know he was there but somehow he managed to capture absolutely everything.
