Wedding Photography at St Wilfrid's Church Kelham

Wedding St Wilfrid's - Kelham. Wedding Photography Nottingham.

Caroline and Matt were married at St Wilfrid's Church in the grounds of Kelham Hall, and were part of the VW Festival that was happening at Kelham over the same weekend.

It's the first time I have had the pleasure of photographing at the Church in Kelham, it's a lovely Church and the people at the Church were really helpful on the day  - I can't thank them enough for letting me shoot from the back using the silent mode on my Fujifilm Cameras.

I'm drawn to black and white, there are so many photos from the wedding that jump out at me in black and white - the shots inside the Church look stunning in black and white, I think you see more character coming across in black and white.

I have two very strong memories from the day - the first being the ride from the Church to the camp on the back of a Ford pickup truck and the second memory was the weather when we got back to the camp - it was blowing a gale! Some of the pictures I have uploaded show family and friends holding on to the tent posts so they didn't blow away!

I hope you like this small selection of photos from the wedding of Caroline and Matt.

Below are a few pictures from the day - all the images were captured using 2x Fujifilm XT2's, 1x Fujifilm  XPRO2, 16mm f1.4, 23mm f1.4 and F2, 35mm F2, 50mm f2 and the 50-140mm f2.8.

We got married in May and chose Andy as our photographer after getting a message from him through Bark and seeing his Facebook page....and we were not disappointed. Andy is very friendly guy and spoke to me at length on the phone initially. He was not a salesman at all and put no pressure on me but I decided I wanted to have him from very early on!! When we met him, again he was friendly and professional and very knowledgeable.

On the actual day, Andy blended in with the guests and looking back, I hardly remember seeing him but he has taken some AMAZING photos, which were better than I could have imagined. We had a slightly haphazard wedding with not much structure and Andy stayed well into the evening catching lots of wonderful moments for us. I can’t recommend him enough - if you want to really capture how the day goes and get a story of what happened, Andy can do that for you.

Thank you so much for catching our day - you delivered everything we could want and more!
