Wedding Photography at the Lincoln Hotel

Emily and Carl were married at the Lincoln Hotel in Lincoln.

My day started with the girls getting ready at a hair and make salon about 5 minutes from the venue (Mark Jeffs), the only stumbling block was the rain on the walk back, but with coats covering their newly made up hair; everything turned out fine!

The ceremony was very quick, a few ‘I do’s’ and it was all over - possibly the quickest wedding I have been at!!!

Every wedding has its stories and characters, no couple or family is the same and its a privilege to hear some of the fun stories told during the speeches.

Carl and Emily have some great family and friends and I hope that the guys and girls who travelled from Canada got home safe - a couple were going to check out Skegvegas before catching a flight home.

I’ve put together a quick photofilm above (all in B&W) picking out a few pictures from the day - from getting ready to the first dance.

I’d love it if you could turn up the volume, spare a few minutes to watch it and if you like it - share it.

Below is a few pictures from the day - all the images were captured using 2x Fujifilm XT2's, 1x FujifilmXPRO 2, 16mm f1.4, 23mm f1.4, 56mm f1.2, 16-55 f2.8 and the 50-140mm f2.8.

-Andy-

Andy is a talented, professional and thoughtful photographer. The photos from our day feel natural and are real documents of the event. There is something truly special about his style of work, as he does not rely on posed photos, but lets things happen and then captures them. We both have fond memories every time we look at our pictures. From the minute we met Andy, we knew we would be receiving truly special photographs, and we have.
