Wedding Photography at Newark Castle
Nat and Tom - I really enjoyed their wedding, we had great fun on the pre wedding shoot back in July - I knew how laid back the day was going to be, but even I was surprised at how calm they both were!
Nat and Tom were married at the picturesque Newark Castle with the aftershow party being held at Hoveringham Village Hall.
My day started with the bridal prep where the girls were getting their make-up and hair done at Nat's Dad's house in Southwell. The make-up was being done by Sali from MSMOOMAKEUP.COM. I can highly recommend Sali - she was a pleasure to work with and the results were AMAZING.
Sometimes with bridal prep people can be on edge, and it can be difficult to capture things as they happen as no-one sits still! But the girls were great and I think that because me and Nat were chatting and having some fun it allowed the others to let me in and I ended up getting some nice shots. On a side note - Nat's Dad is a whizz at sorting out iPhones... just saying.
The ceremony at Newark was nice and intimate, with some readings and individual vows read by Nat and Tom, the highlight for me was Tom committing to support Nat in all her unfinished craft making projects :-)
The village hall at Hoveringham is a great place to have a wedding or a party as you can make it as big or small as you like. Nat and Tom certainly cater for every type of person, there were all manner of sweets, cakes, treats and even a wedding cake made of actual cheese - YES, ACTUAL CHEESE.
Below are a few pictures from the day - there is also a Photofilm at the bottom of the page. All the images were captured using 2x Fujifilm Xpro2's, 16mm f1.4, 23mm f1.4, 56mm f1.2 and the 50-140mm f2.8.
I wish Nat and Tom all the best as they continue on their journey together; now as man and wife.
